If you walked around the railway 9 times it was a real mile. miss the garden half an acre and the railway but it was hard work. All good things come to an end. Built this myself in 2004. Took 9 months. Had some good times.

Wow. When I was little I had no use for dolls. Trains fascinated me. My parents finally bought me a simple train set. I guess they might have feared I'd grow up batting for the other team. I just liked trains. This is absolutely incredible. I'm 79 now. I still appreciate the intricacies of this display.
